We had a great day at our homeschool co-op today. Joining this group was one of the best things I did for our homeschool journey. We not only have classes, we take great field trips, and we do life together. The people in this group have really built soon. Wonderful friendships together.

My name is Laura, and I’m the heart behind Southern Hearted.
By trade, I’m a wedding planner and designer. For years, I’ve had the joy of helping couples create meaningful, beautiful celebrations spaces where people gather, connect, and make memories that last a lifetime. It’s work I truly love, because at the center of it all is something I care deeply about, bringing people together.
But life has a way of shifting our focus in the sweetest ways.
These days, I’m also homeschooling my grandson, which has been one of the most unexpected and meaningful chapters of my life. Our days are a mix of learning, laughter, patience, and grace and a whole lot of real life in between.
